It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that we are organizing one week FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM on Outcome Based Education & Practices from
7th July 2014 to 12th July 2014 in the Institute’s premises.
The Faculty development Programs deliberates upon different facets of outcome based education and models. Accreditation is a process of quality assurance and improvement, whereby an institute or a program in an institution is critically appraised to verify that the institution or the program continues to meet and exceed the norms and standards prescribed by the appropriate designated agency.
The Outcome Based Education (OBE) is a step towards meeting the requirements of Graduate Attributes and hence, ensuring quality in technical education. Once a program is accreditated by NBA, the programme will have global acceptability and promotes students’ mobility. Outcome Based Accreditation plays an important role in quality assurance of the Academic Programme and has been very effective in international benchmarking. Such Outcome Based Education (OBE) is not feasible unless a proper training is imparted to institute’s faculty conducting these programs and also to the promoters (education providers) of the institute.
