Candidates securing minimum aggregate percentage of marks in the last qualifying examination with CET Rank as per Chart given below automatically become entitled to following one time Pre-Admission Scholarship provided they applied online for it before filing their Ist preference for taking admission in following courses at IITM.

NOTE :
- It is important to note that the In-House Merit Scholarships cited at Sl.No. i, ii, iii & iv are applicable during the Ist & IInd year i.e. during the first four semesters only as these winners during the 3rd year (IVth & Vth Semester) are expected to vie for the University Gold Medal / Shield and Matshre Lilawati Gold Medal coined with a 24K, 8gms Ginni.
- The above Scholarships are applicable only on securing minimum 90% and above marks and holding rank among the first three University Toppers
- A student shall be entitled only for one Scholarship i.e. the highest one he / she is eligible for.
